Confidentiality Policy

Applicants

Computerbank Australia Inc. Victorian Branch (CAI-Vic) will keep all application details strictly confidential and private. Under no circumstance can a CAI-Vic committee member, volunteer or staff member discuss details of recipients with others unless prior consent is given.

All application forms will be kept in a safe and secure place.

Members

Computerbank Australia member's details are available for perusal by members only, by prior arrangement with the National Secretary, as is required by the Associations Incorporation Act 1981. Other persons may not have access to these details for any reason without the prior consent of the member.

Volunteers

CAI-Vic will keep all volunteer registration details strictly confidential and private. The State Coordinator, State Treasurer and State Volunteer Coordinator shall be the only individuals within CAI-Vic to have access to these records.

All volunteer registration forms will be kept in a safe and secure place.

Staff

CAI-Vic will keep all staff details strictly confidential and private. The National Treasurer, National Secretary, State Coordinator, and State Treasurer shall be the only individuals within CAI-Vic to have access to these records.

Donors

Donors may stipulate at the time of making a donation that they wish their donation to be anonymous, and CAI-Vic will respect this.

The data which may inadvertently be left on magnetic media of any type when a donor gives equipment to CAI-Vic remains the property of the donor, and will immediately be removed by Computerbank in such a way that there is no possibility that it could be retrieved by any other person.
