User Support Report Oct 2006
Not a great deal to report on, we have had a steady stream of 1 -2 user
support issues per week, a few PEBCAK issues and a couple of bugs
We
have had some issues with VLC not playing VCD's, I've spent 2 days
sorting thru this and found that the best solution for the moment is to
install Xine back on the Distro ( There is a new version availible and
I have tested it with all common movie file types inc .mov, .asf, .wmv,
.avi, .mpg, .vob and all worked perfectly.
We have had a few issues with people claiming that they can't
burn DVD's with our Software, we have had three in last 2 months and
all have turned out to user issues, mainly trying to copy Copy
Protected Movies or using disks that have already been burnt to.
Other than that we have had a couple issues that have been
fixed on newer computers but there are a few older systems out there
with the unfixed issues on them.
