Websites Report November 2008
Our main Computerbank website was upgraded to Plone 3.1.5 on 29th October.
The content has been revamped and more photos have been added to the site. Thanks very much to Allan, Barry, Darce, David, Kim, Kylie, Michael, Patrick, Sam and Tony who gave such useful feedback via the usability tests.
NO MEMBER FOLDERS IN THE NEW SITE
Whilst most of the content was upgraded and revamped the old member folders were left behind. Only two or three member folders were being used so there seemed no point to bring them across. The downside of this is that all volunteers need to register with the new site.
There's an Intranet on the site for volunteers and committee members. Login is needed to access these areas. Invitations to join the new website were sent out to current volunteers in the last couple of weeks. Volunteers need to login to access and
add their name to the roster and other items of interest to volunteers. Email me or see me to get your login details added to the site if you didn't get an invitation.
REMOVED
The wiki has been removed. The wiki's content has been moved to the new intranet or to public areas within the Plone site.
ISSUE TRACKER
The issue tracker within Plone has gone. The new issue
tracker is at Google.Code

Transferral of some of the content from the Documentation site has begun.
Many thanks to Kaye Hargreaves for working on moving the minutes from the old Silva site to the Plone site. Kaye has already moved the minutes from 2008 - 2005 - a fantastic effort.
STILL TO DO
The rest of the content from the Silva documentation site needs sorting, pruning, updating and moving to the new Plone site. When this is complete we will then just have one website. This process has started. More volunteers needed. http://doc.vic.computerbank.org.au/
