Present: Kylie Davies, Bill McPherson, Peter Eckersley, David Totterdell, Patricia Fraser, Tim PriceJohn Lapuz, Frank Copeland, Rob Brittain, Bob Blanchett, Jason Rolston. Apologies:

Installfest Co-ordination

Rob Brittain agreed to look after the Assembly table, with Frank, Bob and Peter looking after the Install tables. Bill and Patricia agreed to look after the door, the food and any applicants or project enquiries.

Patricia is to bring membership and volunteer applicaiton forms.

Tim will provide boot floppies, and Bill will ensure that there are enough power boards and extension cords. The hub is available and works.

Patricia will do postings to the LUV list and to the MelbPC Newsgroup, as well as the the main CBV list.

Other business

Bill reports that Andrew Maher of the Information Exchange has been nominated for the Stockholm Challenge.

The Networking the Nation Grants announcement will be made on Wednesday May 31st.

Bill moved that CBV support Ceres; seconded Kylie, carried. Ceres is an organisation for environmental education and research, and can be found at ceres.org.au, while a similar organisation in the USA is ceres.org.

Bob Blanchett would be interested in working on a CBV-HOWTO document, which would include our policy documents and processes, to be used by organisations wishing to set up a similar structure. Kylie and Patricia will make documents available to him to make a start on this.

The date for the CBV Annual General Meeting is to be Saturday August 19th by agreement.

Patricia nominated Jason Rolston for the position of Volunteer Co-ordinator. Seconded Kylie. Carried.
